Tile calculator for 115 laying patterns — herringbone, Versailles, brick bond and more
Pick a pattern, enter room and tile size, get full tiles, cut tiles, area and waste. It is the engine of the 3D tool running in your browser, so cuts are counted against real room edges, not a flat percentage. Vietnamese: tính số viên gạch.

Questions
How does the calculator count cut tiles?
It lays the pattern on your room with the same engine as the 3D tool and counts the tiles the room edge cuts. A tile that is cut counts as one whole tile, and the waste figure is the extra tile area bought for those cuts, so pieces are not reused.
How much extra should I add on top?
The calculator's waste figure only covers cutting. The extra allowance field adds a percentage on top for breakage, mistakes and spares; it starts at 10 % as a placeholder you should replace with your installer's advice.
Can I change the tile size?
Yes. Every pattern lists its size parameters (for example length and width) under the room fields; change them and the count updates.
Does the calculator handle L-shaped rooms and doors?
The page takes a rectangle. For other shapes, open the editor or the SketchUp extension (10 free uses a day): they tile any face with holes and give the same count plus a CSV.
